Live, Attenuated, Freeze Dried

Fowl pox ‘BM’ strain vaccine has been developed with the use of latest techniques used in the vaccine research. This is the world’s best vaccine available today. It has been shown to be harmless and stress free even when given to one day old chicks and birds in lay. It offers solid immunity (95% protection) in vaccinated chicks under normal conditions. In areas prone to outbreak of Fowl Pox disease two times vaccination (at 4-5 weeks and repeated at 14-15 weeks age) will in most cases completely assure protection against the disease.

This vaccine contains live, attenuated Fowl Pox ‘BM’ Strain virus propagate in chick embryo skin cell cultures. The vaccine contains ≥ 102TCID50of  virus per dose. The vaccine is available in 100, 500 and 1000 dose vial.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3602″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”product-box” css=”.vc_custom_1512432424869{padding-top: 35px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/3″ el_class=”block3″][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1512431727138{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”3346″ img_size=”24×24″ el_class=”img”][vc_column_text]VACCINATION SCHEDULE :

Infectious Bursal Disease Vaccine Live I.P. Brand Name: IBD Intermediate Plus

[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1512431460697{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”2/3″ el_class=”block1″][vc_column_text]

Infectious Bursal ( Gumboro) Disease is an acute highly contagious disease of young chicks (2-6 weeks old). It also affects chicks of 7-10 weeks in mild manner. Older birds do not develop clinical disease.
The disease is associated with severe damage to Bursa of Fabricius in young chicks. This leads to defective immune systems, making chicks susceptible to many diseases like Ranikhet ( Newcastle) Disease inspite of vaccination.
The disease spreads by contaminated feed, water and air. The incubation period is short (2-3 days). The affected chicks become dull, depressed, go off feed, have ruffled feathers and huddle in corners. Soon diarrhoea develops leading to progressive weakness & death in 5-6 days. It can affect 80% of the flock but kills about 2-10% chicks only.
On postmortem, bursa is enlarged, oedamatous and yellowish. At times bursa show petechial or ecchymotic haemorrhages on mucosal surface. Occasionally, extensive haemorrhages through the entire bursa are observed. Pinpoint haemorrhages can be seen in muscles of breast, thighs and legs. Spleen is enlarged, caecal tonsil and thymus are hyperemic.

DESCRIPTION :

The vaccine contains live, low passage Infectious Bursal Disease Intermediate plus strain virus propagated in SPF chicken embryo fibroblast cell culture. The vaccine virus(serotype 1) successfully immunizes the chicks with maternal antibodies yet is nearly harmless to the Bursal tissue & confers quick immunity against virulent IBD virus. It is available in freeze dried form. The vaccine contains atleast ≥103TCID50 of virus per dose. The vaccine is available in 100, 200, 500 and 1000 dose vial.

  2. Remove 1 ml vaccine diluent with a syringe and needle from the diluent vial & reconstitute the vaccine.
  3. Remove reconstituted vaccine and mix with remaining diluent.
  4.  Administer to the chick one drop of reconstituted vaccine orally .
  5. The vaccine can also be given in cold non-sanitized drinking water stabilized with 2 gm skimmed milk powder per liter of water. Use enough water that the chicks can drink in 1 to 2 hours. The chicks are kept thirsty for 2-3 hours before offering vaccine water. Vaccination should preferably be done during motning hours.

Ranikhet Disease Vaccine, Live Lentogenic ‘LaSota’ Strain I.P. Brand name: SUPER LaSota

[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1512431460697{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”2/3″ el_class=”block1″][vc_column_text]

Super LaSotaTM  Vaccine is the latest contribution of Bio-Med to the bandwagon of currently existing Ranikhet disease vaccines. Its uniqueness lies in its characteristics of being highly immunogenic although being stress free. Hence it shall protect (broiler / layer) chicks (young chicks or birds in lay) against the potential attack of very-very virulent Ranikhet disease virus.
Super LaSotaTM has been developed in DSIR (Govt. of India) certified lab of Bio-Med by extensive research using CLONING & SELECTION procedure. Super LaSota’s I.C.P Index is 0.0125 & C.E.P Index is 115.5 hours. It causes insignificant pathogenic changes in the lung & airsacs of young chicks. The chicks vaccinated with this vaccine, resisted challenge by infectious Ranikhet disease virus(90% Survival in comparison with about 10% conferred with regular Lasota/F/B-1 Strain vaccines in a trial). All these characteristics makes Super LaSotaTM a distinct clone of R.D. virus.

Administer ‘one’ drop by dropper in the mouth of each chick. Alternatively, the reconstituted vaccine can be given in drinking water also. Allow birds to be thirsty for 1/2 hour to one hour depending on climate. Remove drinkers & clean them. Use fresh water only. Do not use medicated or water with chlorine or any disinfectant. Add vaccine, proportionately in drinkers with enough water that should be consumed within one or two hours. Dry milk powder can be added (100gm per 20 litre) to drinking water for stabilizing vaccine.
